Shirley Ann Benningfield of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Emmett Miskell and Elizabeth O’Banion Allen, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, October 23, 1938. She died at 10:10 P.M., Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in Elizabethtown. Age: 77 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She enjoyed meeting with her friends from Fruit of the Loom for monthly luncheons and meeting with her Sunday School Class as long as she was able. She united in marriage to Glenn Benningfield March 4, 1958. Besides her husband, Glenn Benningfield of Campbellsville, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Diane Ford-Benningfield of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Andrew Christian Ford and Patrick Dylan Ford of Campbellsville and Ryan Patrick Benningfield and Eric Marshall Benningfield of Louisville; one brother and one sister: Robert Emmett Miskell and wife, Shirley Ann of Atoka, Tennessee and Carolyn Mae Price of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
