Opal Wright

Opal Wright of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Samuel Bennett and Rhoda Hunt Bennett, was born September 16, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:42 P.M., Thursday, August 20, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 76 She was a retired employee of Taylor Regional Hospital. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She united in marriage to Veachel Wright December 21, 1956. He preceded her in death October 9, 1993. She is survived by one son and two daughters: Jeff Wright and wife, Donna, Sue Ann Wheatley and husband, Barry and Cindy Gabehart and husband, Tony; six grandchildren: Cory Wright and wife, Chelsea, Lindsay Franklin and husband, Andrew, Brennan Wheatley, Caden Wheatley and Blasé Wheatley of Campbellsville and Olivia Gabehart of Nashville; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Shelby Moore of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Frances Knopp and Beulah Quinn and one half-sister, May Bell.
