Susie Gunter

Susie Gunter, of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Wilbur Gunter and Virgie Tucker Gunter, was born October 15, 1927 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 3:08 P.M., Monday, August 10, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 87 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle. She is survived by one son and five daughters: Weldon Dee Gunter and Mary Truax of Campbellsville, Faye Mattingly and husband, Mittchell, Carolyn Hoeck and husband, Danny and Tammy Brady and husband, Jerry of Lebanon and Hilda Perkins of Bradfordsville; a grandson she raised, Damon Truax; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; one sister, Christine Smithy of Indianapolis, Indiana and one half-sister, Helena Atwood of Elk Horn; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
