Walter "Phil" Benningfield

Walter “Phil” Benningfield, of Campbellsville, son of the late Marvin Benningfield and Ethel Leer Puryear Benningfield was born August 27, 1936 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:20 A.M., Monday, July 20, 2015 in Springfield. Age: 78 He professed faith in Christ and attended White’s Ridge General Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Fruit of The Loom. He is survived by two brothers: Samuel Benningfield and wife, Mildred of Campbellsville and James Benningfield and wife, Burnestine of Elkhorn; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Willis Benningfield, February 6, 2015 VISITATION: 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
