Carrie Mae Phillips of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Charlie Campbell and Flossie Mae Colvin Campbell was born May 9, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:20 A.M., Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in Greensburg. Age: 86 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she was a faithful member of the Adult Women# 3 Sunday School Class. She was former Co-owner of Phillips Seed House, a farmer and a bookkeeper. She united in marriage to Billie Phillips August 22, 1947. He preceded her in death September 27, 2006. She is survived by four sons and three daughters: Bobby Phillips and wife, Becky, Kenny Phillips and wife Susan, Charles Phillips and wife, Gayle, Richard Phillips and wife, Marnie, Betty Preston and husband, Marvin all of Campbellsville, Barbara Clark and husband, Don of Ninety Six, South Carolina and Jeannie Phillips and Betty Curtis, a very special friend who is like a daughter of Sarasota, Florida; seventeen grandchildren: Christy Parks, Rod Phillips, Robyn P. Sollberger, Rikki Moss, Eric Clark, Adam Clark, Matthew Clark, Caleb Clark, Jeremy Bishop, Karri Cox, Amber Nash, Nicole Driver, Will Phillips, Edlynn Phillips, Lauren Phillips, Hannah Phillips, John Michael Phillips; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters: C.W. Campbell of Blackshear, Georgia, Nora Susan Jarboe Of Louisville, Lena Harmon and Helen Burris of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister, George Robert Campbell and Louise Roberts. VISITATION: 5:00 – 8:00 P.M., Friday FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Dr. James Jones BURIAL: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens PALLBEARERS: HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Grandsons Adult Women # 3 Sunday School Class EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY REQUESTED TO BE DONATIONS TO PLEASANT HILL BAPTIST CHURCH BUILDING FUND AND MAY BE MADE AT THE PARROTT & RAMSEY FUNERAL HOME.
