Darrel Ray Cox

Darrel Ray Cox of Campbellsville, son of the late George W. Cox and Irene Smothers Cox, was born April 20, 1954, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He passed away at 9:30 P.M., Saturday, June 6, 2015, at his home surrounded by family and friends. Age: 61 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Acton Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Fruit of The Loom in Campbellsville and American Greetings in Danville. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Ben Cox of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: McKenzie Cox and Keeton Cox; two brothers and three sisters: Gary Cox and wife, Allene, Hilbert Cox, Connie Burton and Carrie Rafferty and husband, Steve of Campbellsville and Emma McDonald and husband, Larry of Greensburg; one half-sister, Evelyn Mitchell of Anson, Maine; special friend, Norma Cochran of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
