Betty Pike, a life-long resident of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Benjamin Harding Hord and Byrde Elizabeth Phillips Hord, was born January 27, 1925, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:10 P.M., Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in Anchorage, Kentucky. She was 90 years of age. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a retired bookkeeper, having worked at Ben Franklin Department Store, Victor’s Department Store and State Beauty College. She united in marriage to William Russell Pike April 11, 1946. He preceded her in death September 27, 1980. She is survived by one daughter, Janie Carrithers and husband, Robert of Anchorage; three grandchildren: Lisabeth Blair of Shelbyville, William Thad Sears of Little Mount, Kentucky and Cassandra Carrithers of Savannah, Georgia; two great-granddaughters: Bethany Blair and Allie Blair; two sisters: Edna Mildred Garvin of Pensacola, Florida and Annie Laurie Cox of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Richard Edwards Hord and Nancy Lou Sandidge. ________________ VISITATION: 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M., Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Dr. James Jones and Rev.
