Rev. Larry M. Chambers, Sr. of Campbellsville, son of the late James Benjamin Chambers and Faye Ellen Koch Chambers, was born December 25, 1936, in White Deer, Pennsylvania. He died at 4:35 P.M., Thursday, March 19, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 78 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Point Pleasant Lighthouse Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Marines. He was a retired Southern Baptist minister, having pastored churches in Maryland, Florida and Kentucky. He united in marriage to Janet Kay Collison July 5, 1958. Besides his wife, Janet Kay Chambers of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons and one daughter: Larry Max Chambers, Jr. and wife Kimberly and Brenda K. Beals and husband, W. T. of Campbellsville and Steven Ward Chambers and wife, Toni of Dothan, Alabama; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, James B. Chambers and wife, Carolyn of Linthicum, Maryland; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Lou Smith. James Collison, Jr. BURIAL: Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard
