Annie Ernestine Pierce of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Robert Paxton and Lorena Sublett Paxton, was born October 29, 1917 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 6:50 A.M., Thursday, January 15, 2015, in Campbellsville. Age: 97 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Charles Reesor Pierce January 6, 1940. He preceded her in death December 5, 2004. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Charles Randall Pierce and special friend, Helen Case of Louisville and Marilyn Terry and husband, William of Paducah; four grandchildren: Gina Spurling Eagan and husband, Richard of Concord, North Carolina, Vernon O.C. Spurling, II of Taylorsville, Cara Terry of Lexington and Amy Hutchinson and husband, Joe of Glasgow; three great-grandchildren: Sophie Hutchinson of Glasgow, Lauren Lee and husband, Brandon of Concord, North Carolina and Brandon Allen Bell of Columbia, South Carolina; one great-granddaughter, Annabell Lee; two sisters: Hazel Squires of Campbellsville and Willetta Dangerfield of Ft. Worth, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
