Johnnie "Bill" Myers

Johnnie “Bill” Myers of Campbellsville, son of the late William Myers and Mary Wilson Myers, was born November 25, 1922 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:15 A.M., Thursday, January 1, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 92 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pitman Valley Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired farmer and a past employee of Overhead Door in Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Geraldine Sharp December 17, 1949. She preceded him in death August 1, 2004. He is survived by two sons and two daughters and spouses: Jerry and Kathy Myers of Campbellsville, Sharon and Larry Price of Greensburg, Timmy and Linda Myers and Judy and Robert Kearney of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Candy Newton and husband, Chad and Billy Dale Myers of Campbellsville and Phillip Joe Price of Greensburg; two great-grandchildren: Chaz Newton and Cayson Newton; one sister, Jennie Barnett and husband, Leonard of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
