William David Cook

William David Cook of Campbellsville, son of the late Russell Cook and Virginia McNear Cook was born March 16, 1940 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 10, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 74 He was of the Protestant Faith. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Era having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired machinist with Dover Resources C. Lee Cook Company in Louisville. He united in marriage to Linda “Penny” Pritchard April 24, 1962. Besides his wife, Linda “Penny” Cook of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Cook and her husband, Charles Posey of Summersville ; two grandchildren: Kori Thompson and husband, Ernie and William Casey McKenzie of Campbellsville; seven great-grandchildren: Cecily Posey, Asia Barbour, Zayden McKenzie, Braylen Thompson, William Kemani Thompson, Rizzo McKenzie and Caselynn McKenzie; one sister and two brothers: Barbara Alfieri and Jerry Leon Cook and wife, Margaret of Tampa, Florida and Roger D. Cook and wife, Sandy of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Bobby Lewis Cook, Jewell Faye Phillips and Kathy Lynn Cave. VISITATION: 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
