Mary Katherine Wayne

Mary Katherine Wayne of Campbellsville, formerly of Lebanon, daughter of the late Leroy Lanham and Elsa Engler Lanham, was born in Marion County, Kentucky, January 12, 1919. She died at 2:38 P.M., Friday, September 26, 2014 In Campbellsville. Age: 95 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Lebanon. She was a clerk at Georges Department Store for many years. She united in marriage to Thomas Alfred Wayne January 14, 1939. He preceded her in death June 2, 1996. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Thomas (Buggy) Wayne and wife, Betty and Lyla Thurman of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Sam Thurman, April Higdon and husband, Junior, Nikki Edwards and husband, Derek, and A. J. Wayne of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Cailee Higdon, Maci Higdon, and Trace Higdon; one sister, Sarah Carlisle of Center, Texas; special friend and caregiver, Delores (Mayola) Newton of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
