J.R. "Slick" Polston

J.R. “SLICK” POLSTON J.R. “Slick” Polston of Campbellsville, son of the late Herlan Polston Sr. and Dorothy Burris Polston, was born December 10, 1946, in Jamestown, Kentucky. He died at 12:40 A.M., Friday, September 12, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 67 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church and attended Calvary Baptist Church. He retired from Fruit of the Loom after 30 years of service. He is survived by two daughters: Tammy Phillips and husband, Gary of Campbellsville, Tonja Polston and partner, Nancy Wallace of Lebanon; three grandchildren: Tyler Phillips and wife, Tracy of Campbellsville, Garrett Phillips of Bowling Green and Kendall Polston of Lebanon; two sisters: Katie Brockman and Patty Polston; one brother, Dwight Polston all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
