Robert L. Wise

Robert L. (Bob) Wise of Campbellsville, son of the late Marvin Thomas Wise and Alma Colvin Wise was born August 8, 1930 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:14 A.M., Saturday, February 8, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 83He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church where he was a deacon emeritus.He was a retired farmer.He was very active in Democrat politics, was a former Taylor County School Board Member, and a member of the honorable order of Kentucky Colonels. Bob also was a mason and member and past master of the Andy Bowen Masonic Lodge #670 F&AM in Spurlington.He united in marriage to Nell Mitchell December 12, 1948.Besides his wife, Nell Mitchell Wise of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons and one daughter, Ron Wise of Nashville, Tennessee, Brian Wise and wife, Connie and Roberta Cox and husband, Craig of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren: Richie Glass and wife Jen, Natalie Wise, Mitchell Wise, Angella Watson and husband, Craig, Nick Wise and wife, Robyn, Thomas Wise and Rachel Keeton and husband, Will; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Wilma McGuire of Campbellsville; special caregiver, Pam Colvin of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends.
