Henry E. Blakeman

Henry E. Blakeman of Campbellsville, son of the late Clifford Edwin Blakeman and Jane Acquila Larimore Blakeman, was born in Green County, Kentucky, May 23, 1941. He died at 8:34 A.M., Monday, February 24, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 72He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church.He was the retired owner and operator of Blakeman Hardwoods and Blakeman Carpets.He united in marriage to Mickie King June 22, 1960. She preceded him in death April 13, 2010. He united in marriage to Barbara Edelen Powell February 14, 2014.Besides his wife, Barbara Powell Blakeman, he is survived by three sons: Barry Blakeman and wife, Donna, Mark Blakeman and wife, Tammy and Steve Blakeman and fiancee, Vicki Milby of Campbellsville; two step-sons: John Powell of Campbellsville and Steven Douglas Powell of Atlanta, Georgia; five grandchildren: Jeffrey Scott Blakeman, Christopher Lynn Blakeman, Matthew Dylan Blakeman, Miranda Star Blakeman and Alex Bryan Blakeman; two step-grandchildren: Christina Powell and Adam Chase Powell and fiancee, Chelsea Smith; two step-great-grandchildren: Lucas Edward Vardeman and Sophia Yates; one brother, Ronnie Blakeman and wife, Gayle of Greensburg; one brother-in-law, Rev. Curtis Slinker of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Slinker.
