Nadine Rainwater

Nadine Rainwater of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Joseph Oliver Newcomb and Elma ?Billie? Ford Newcomb, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 17, 1926. She died at 12:15 A.M., Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 87She was a retired bookkeeper and secretary, having worked at Fruit of the Loom, Corner Drug Store, Central Kentucky News Journal, Ingersoll-Rand and South Campbellsville Baptist Church.She professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.She united in marriage to Robert J. Rainwater, who preceded her in death in February of 1987. She is survived by one daughter and two sons: Janellen Rainwater and Bobby Lewis Rainwater of Campbellsville and Jeff Rainwater and wife, Sue of Hardyville; ten grandchildren: Joey Rainwater and wife, Tracy, Adam Rainwater and wife, Tammy, Julie England and husband, Adam, Jason Rainwater and Katlin Rainwater of Campbellsville; Aaron Rainwater and wife, Nicki of Casey County, Charles Payne of Glasgow, Alyssa Sue Rainwater and Justin Rainwater of Hardyville and Sabrina Carrier of Louisville; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill Newcomb and wife, Barbara of Campbellsville; two sisters-in-law, Audrey Newcomb of Campbellsville and Iva Newcomb of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Linda Helen Rainwater and two brothers: Bobby Joe Newcomb and Grover Lee Newcomb.
