Betty Nelson

Betty Nelson of Campbellsville daughter of the late Cleaver Moore and Elizabeth McCarty Moore, was born in Marion County, Kentucky, March 13, 1944. She died at 4:02 P.M., Friday, May 9, 2014 in Louisville. Age: 70 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.She was a retired employee of Metzmeier Nursing Home, she also was employed at Price?s Grocery for several years.She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Ollie Jones, Brian Nelson and Patricia Lanham of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Jessica Lynn Dean, Danielle Jones and Brandon Nelson of Campbellsville and Timmy Jones of Glasgow; four great-grandchildren: Allison Dean and Cameron Dean, Allie Jones, and Tyler Ray Jones; three brothers and three sisters: Junior Moore of Campbellsville, Paul Moore, Robert Moore and Sue Cox of Lebanon and Joyce Porter and Aileen Whitlock of Finley; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.She was also preceded in death by one son, Danny Jones January 31, 2003 and one sister, Tresea Hardin.
