Fred Underwood

Fred Underwood of Buffalo, son of the late Herb Underwood and Lillie Shofner Underwood, was born July 9, 1930, in Larue County, Kentucky. He died at 8:30A.M., Friday, June 13, 2014, in Buffalo. Age: 83He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church.He was a retired TARC bus driver, farmer and mechanic.He united in marriage to Barbara Webb, February 18, 1961. Besides his wife, Barbara Underwood of Buffalo, he is survived by two sons: Danny Dale Underwood of Campbellsville and Carlton Underwood of Buffalo; two step-children: Vincent Huff and wife, Annie of Buffalo and Elizabeth Pennington and husband, Steve of Louisville; thirteen grandchildren: Danny Underwood Jr., Dale Underwood, Charlotte Frame, Stacy Morgan and husband, Ronnie, C.J. Underwood, Sarah Underwood, Sean Underwood, Jesse Underwood, Heidi Underwood, Carl Ray Hicks, Nicole Pennington, Lorie Pennington and Steve Pennington; two brothers and three sisters: Charlie Underwood of Shepherdsville, Walter Underwood and Katie Brown of Louisville, Hazel Warren and husband, Stoy of Greensburg and Mary Warren of Summersville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Underwood and two brothers: William ?Uncle Bill? Underwood and Blond Underwood.
