Melvyn E. Douglas

Melvyn E. Douglas of Campbellsville, son of the late Ira Melvyn Douglas and Mary Evans Douglas, was born August 13, 1932 in Casey County, Kentucky. He died at 5:35 P.M., Sunday, July 20, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 81 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church.He was a retired employee of GTE.He united in marriage to Kathryn Gabehart December 16, 1950. Besides his wife, Kathryn Douglas of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Billy Joe and Sheila Douglas of Campbellsville; one granddaughter, Brooke Gupton and husband, Josh of Greensburg; one great-granddaughter, Lexi Kate Gupton of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Stearman.
